Pearson Carter are currently working with a leading organisation delivering cloud-based data solutions across complex, multi-source environments. They are looking for a Data Pipeline Engineer to design and build scalable ingestion frameworks, secure data sharing solutions, and governance-driven data platforms on AWS.

This is a hands-on data engineering role focused on building reliable ETL pipelines, supporting cross-agency data sharing, and delivering high-quality data solutions across enterprise environments.

Responsibilities:
Build and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines across APIs, SFTP, and databases
Develop ETL transformations using business and technical data mappings
Implement secure AWS data sharing using Lake Formation and S3
Build data quality, lineage, and metadata tracking frameworks
Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CDK
Support testing, validation, and UAT activities
Document pipelines, architecture, and governance processes

Experience:
5 years Data Engineering experience
Strong AWS experience (Glue, Lake Formation, S3, Athena)
Strong Python, PySpark, and SQL skills
Experience building scalable ETL/data pipelines
Knowledge of data governance, metadata, and secure data sharing
Experience with Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar IaC tools
Public Sector / Government experience beneficial

Singapore
