We're working with a highly respected national professional services organisation that is investing heavily in cloud technology, DevOps and AI. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative engineering team building modern cloud-native applications that support critical business operations while helping shape the next generation of AI-powered products.

You'll work across the full software development lifecycle, designing and delivering scalable Azure solutions using an API-first architecture. The team is also developing cutting-edge agentic AI applications that leverage large language models and autonomous workflows to transform the way knowledge-intensive work is delivered.

The Role

As a Cloud Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing and operating secure cloud applications while driving best practice across DevOps, automation and modern software engineering.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Design and build cloud-native applications and services on Microsoft Azure
• Develop scalable backend solutions using C# and .NET
• Design and secure REST APIs for enterprise applications and AI integrations
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Bicep
• Create and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
• Champion DevOps practices including automation monitoring and observability
• Develop AI-enabled capabilities using large language models and modern AI frameworks
• Collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
• Troubleshoot production systems and continuously improve platform reliability

What We're Looking For

• Commercial experience building cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Strong C# and .NET development experience
• Experience developing secure REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
• Infrastructure as Code experience using Bicep
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD
• Experience with Git version control
• Interest in AI technologies including LLMs RAG and agentic AI concepts

Nice to Have

• Azure certifications such as AZ-204 AZ-400 or AI-102
• Experience integrating AI solutions into enterprise environments
• Exposure to Azure services including App Services Functions Cosmos DB API Management Key Vault and Logic Apps
