Street Lighting Engineer needed in North London Paying  £27.56 per hr  ref 013686

Full time hours on a temporary basis

• Design, specify and implement street lighting and illuminated traffic sign schemes.
• Manage street lighting maintenance programmes and improvement projects.
• Undertake inspections, condition assessments and asset management activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards and industry best practice.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, reports, budgets and project documentation.
• Manage contractors and monitor performance, quality, health and safety, and project delivery.
• Investigate lighting defects, customer enquiries and technical issues, providing practical solutions.
• Support energy efficiency and carbon reduction initiatives, including LED conversion programmes.
• Liaise with developers, utility companies, highways teams, local stakeholders and other partners.
• Provide technical advice on street lighting, electrical infrastructure and highway illumination projects.
