Senior IoT Sales Engineer Utilities / Digital Solutions Christchurch (Remote)

Pearson Carter are currently working with an innovative utilities technology company delivering IoT and digital solutions across water, energy, and critical infrastructure sectors. Due to continued growth, they are expanding their team and looking for a Senior IoT Sales Engineer to drive customer adoption, build strategic partnerships, and grow their market presence.

This role combines technical advisory, solution selling, account growth, and stakeholder engagement, acting as the bridge between complex IoT technology solutions and customer business outcomes.

They offer an excellent salary package of 120K–150K the opportunity to work with cutting-edge IoT solutions across critical infrastructure markets.

Responsibilities:
Identify and close new business opportunities across utilities, energy, and infrastructure markets
Build strong relationships with enterprise customers and strategic partners
Understand customer challenges and shape practical IoT solutions
Lead proposals, tenders, and commercial discussions
Support customers through solution design and implementation
Collaborate with product and delivery teams to influence future solutions

Experience:
Proven experience selling technology solutions into utilities, energy, government, or critical infrastructure sectors
Strong understanding of IT, networking, and operational environments
Experience with IoT, industrial technology, or digital solutions preferred
Strong business development and account management experience
Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
Experience managing complex projects and cross-functional teams

Salary
They offer an excellent salary package: 120,000–150,000

Location
Christchurch, New Zealand (Remote with client visits)
