Property Lawyer needed in South East London Paying  £40.81 per hr ref 135286

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload of complex property matters from instruction through to completion.
  • Provide legal advice on acquisitions, disposals, leases, licences, easements, rights of way, restrictive covenants, and other property-related transactions.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and complete a wide range of legal documentation, including contracts, leases, transfers, deeds, licences, and agreements.
  • Support regeneration, development, and infrastructure projects through the provision of specialist property law advice.
  • Advise on landlord and tenant matters, including lease renewals, assignments, variations, and enforcement issues.
  • Conduct legal due diligence and investigate title issues, identifying and managing associated risks.
  • Instruct and manage external counsel, consultants, and specialist advisers where required.
  • Negotiate effectively with developers, solicitors, agents, stakeholders, and other third parties to secure favourable outcomes.
  • Prepare reports, legal opinions, and briefing notes for senior management and decision-makers.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
  • Support strategic projects and contribute to service improvements and best practice initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records and case management information.
