Junior Consultant Permanent/Contract Dublin

Pearson Carter are currently working with a global client based in Dublin who are seeking an experienced UC Engineer to join their team on a contract or permanent basis.

Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, storage, or networking (internships or academic experience considered).
• Basic understanding of SAN/NAS storage concepts and enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with storage technologies (NAS, SAN, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS).
• Foundational knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing basics.
• Exposure to tools and platforms such as VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS, or NetApp (preferred but not required).
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 22kg (50lbs)

Salary

They are offering a per day rate of up to €200 per day, or a permanent salary depending on experience.  

Location

The client is based in Dublin and you are expected to be able to travel to offices when required.
