Business Development Manager

Location: Singapore

Working Arrangement: Hybrid — 3 days office / 2 days work from home

Salary: Up to SGD 11,000 per month Travel Allowance

The company has a strong and growing focus on the data centre sector, supporting customers across both power and digital infrastructure. Its data centre portfolio includes power cables, fibre optic and connectivity solutions, with capabilities spanning design, installation and post-sales support.

About the Role

The business is looking for an experienced Data Centre Business Development professional to drive growth across the Singapore data centre market.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify emerging data centre trends, technologies, competitors and growth opportunities.
• Develop strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure solutions, including structured cabling, connectivity and related technologies.
• Monitor industry standards, regulations and best practices impacting data centre infrastructure.
• Develop and execute growth strategies for the data centre segment and identify new business opportunities.
• Build relationships with data centre owners, consultants, contractors, distributors, system integrators and industry partners.
• Work closely with sales and technical teams on customer opportunities, site visits, technical assessments and solution development.
• Represent the business at industry events, conferences and customer meetings while delivering market insights and presentations.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with strong commercial and marketing understanding.
• 8 years' experience in the data centre, structured cabling, electrical infrastructure or large system integrator environment.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling solutions and related data centre infrastructure.
• Experience working with vendors, consultants, distributors, contractors and end users.
• Proven experience developing brands through partner engagement, technical training and industry events.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated, commercially focused and able to work independently.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• CDCP or relevant data centre certification is advantageous.
