Financial Manager needed in Chichester

This is a temporary role and the rate is £500 per day PAYE

The successful candidate will be a finance and performance professional with experience of supporting financial planning, performance reporting and governance processes within a local authority or public sector environment.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with experience of producing clear and concise reports for senior officers and elected Members, and the confidence to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders across the organisation.

The role will be responsible for:

• Coordinating and producing quarterly performance management reports
• Maintaining high standards of data quality, consistency and integrity across finance, performance and workforce reporting
• Preparing reports, presentations and briefing materials
• Supporting the monitoring of transformation expenditure
• Coordinating the annual fees and charges review process
• Managing and reconciling financial control totals
