Senior .NET Developer
Pearson Carter are currently working with a market-leading healthcare technology organisation that is investing heavily in its in-house technology team. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior .NET Developer to help drive the development of secure, scalable and user-friendly healthcare applications.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation where technology plays a key role in improving healthcare delivery and patient outcomes. You'll work across modern .NET and React technologies, cloud infrastructure, APIs and integrations, contributing to greenfield projects while collaborating with a close-knit Digital team.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using C# and modern .NET.
- Design REST APIs and integrations with NHS FHIR, e-RS and third-party APIs.
- Build secure, scalable cloud applications using Azure.
- Develop modern React applications using TypeScript.
- Collaborate with clinical leads, stakeholders and developers to deliver software solutions.
- Follow best practices around GDPR, NHS Information Governance and healthcare compliance.
- Mentor Junior and Mid-level developers and contribute to code reviews.
- Work within an Agile environment, supporting testing, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Experience
- 5 years' commercial full-stack development experience.
- Strong C# and modern .NET (6) experience.
- Experience designing and delivering scalable cloud-based .NET services.
- Strong React and TypeScript skills.
- Good knowledge of REST APIs, OOP and Git.
- Strong SQL and PostgreSQL experience, including Dapper or equivalent.
- Experience with unit., integration and E2E testing.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Ability to mentor developers and contribute to technical decisions.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Salary
Salary is dependent on experience but is looking to pay up to £70,000 per annum.
Location
This role is based in Manchester and operates on a hybrid basis (3 days from home, 2 in office).
