The successful candidate will lead on all statutory duties relating to Elective Home Education, ensuring every child receives a suitable education and their wellbeing is effectively monitored. They will confidently advise, support and challenge schools, parents and partner agencies, using data, legislation and clear procedures to drive good practice. They will build positive relationships with families, including Romany Gypsies and Travellers, offering guidance with tact, empathy and professionalism. They will demonstrate strong communication skills, accurate record‑keeping, resilience when managing sensitive or challenging situations, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve high‑quality outcomes.
