Employment Solicitor/Lawyer needed in Bournemouth, £40ph PAYE - Reference: 5304353

The successful candidate will undertake the full range of duties associated with the role and work as part of a supportive and experienced legal team.

To provide high‑quality, timely and accurate legal advice and support to officers, members and clients, ensuring that Legal Services contributes effectively to the delivery of organisational priorities.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of matters relevant to the post-holder’s area of law.
• Provide clear and accurate legal advice to officers and clients on routine to complex matters.
• Support senior colleagues on more complex or high‑risk cases as required.
• Manage a busy caseload
• Represent the Client in legal proceedings commensurate with the role’s level of responsibility.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant legislation, case law and best practice
• Contribute to training sessions and updates for officers and clients where appropriate.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis
