Business Analyst / QA Engineer Australia Full-Time

Pearson Carter are currently working with an Australian aged care technology company connecting caregivers and clients through a digital marketplace designed to make home care more efficient.

Due to growth, they are looking to hire a detail-oriented Business Analyst / QA Engineer to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical delivery, ensuring features are clearly defined, thoroughly tested, and delivered to a high standard.

This is a hands-on role combining requirements analysis, process documentation, manual testing, API testing, and quality assurance within an Agile product and engineering team.

Responsibilities:
Gather and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Create process flows, BPDs, and workflow documentation
Design and execute test plans across web and mobile applications
Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
Test REST APIs and third-party integrations
Manage defects from discovery through to resolution
Work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams

Experience:
Business Analysis and software testing experience
Strong manual testing experience across web and mobile
REST API testing experience
Excellent requirements and technical documentation skills
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
