Development and Regeneration Surveyor needed in Haverfordwest Paying £24.46 per hr ref OR114202
Full time hours on a temporary basis
- Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and Regeneration
- Support the delivery of development and regeneration projects from inception through to completion.
- Undertake site assessments, feasibility studies, and appraisal work to support development opportunities.
- Assist in the identification and acquisition of land and property for development and regeneration purposes.
- Support the disposal and redevelopment of surplus assets.
- Contribute to the preparation of business cases and development proposals.
- Monitor development projects and ensure delivery against agreed objectives, budgets, and timescales.
- Manage a portfolio of land and property assets.
- Undertake inspections of land, buildings, and development sites.
- Negotiate leases, licences, easements, wayleaves, acquisitions, and disposals.
- Prepare property reports and recommendations.
- Monitor property performance and identify opportunities for improvement and value generation.
- Undertake valuations for acquisition, disposal, leasing, and asset management purposes.
- Provide professional property advice to managers and stakeholders.
- Assess market conditions and development opportunities.
- Support negotiations with developers, landowners, agents, and solicitors.
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with developers, contractors, consultants, legal representatives, and landowners.
- Attend meetings and represent the organisation at project and stakeholder meetings.
- Support consultation and engagement activities relating to development projects.
- Prepare financial appraisals and viability assessments.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditure.
- Support procurement and contract management activities.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and professional standards.
- Maintain accurate property records and documentation.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and committee papers where required.
- Promote best practice in property and asset management.
