We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join a global electrical infrastructure business, focusing on high-voltage cable systems and utility projects across the region.

• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets across the assigned territory.

• Review customer specifications, technical standards and tender documentation, identifying requirements and working with engineering teams to develop compliant solutions.

• Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with key decision-makers across public and investor-owned utilities.

• Prepare and deliver technical proposals, presentations and customer solutions.

• Provide market intelligence and develop three-year market forecasts to support business planning.

• Organise customer product training sessions, technical meetings and site/plant visits.

• Work closely with engineering, commercial, legal and project teams to resolve customer requirements and support successful project delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• 2–3 years’ experience in HV cable system design, installation engineering or a closely related power systems environment.

• Strong understanding of HV cable systems, electrical design and installation requirements.

• Experience reviewing customer specifications, technical standards and tender documentation.

• Able to identify technical risks, prepare deviations/clarifications and work with engineering teams to develop compliant solutions.

• Strong relationship-building, negotiation and presentation skills.

• Experience working with utilities, contractors, consultants or major infrastructure customers.

• Commercially minded with strong project management and organisational skills.

• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

• Experience working with legal/commercial teams on contracts and terms & conditions is advantageous.

The ideal candidate will come from an HV cable, transmission, distribution, utility or electrical infrastructure background and have a combination of technical engineering and customer-facing experience.

Experience working with public utilities, investor-owned utilities, HV cable systems, tenders and technical specifications will be highly regarded.
