Contract: 3 months initial (extension based on performance) Rate: 60–80/hr Super Roster: FIFO from WA Environment: Large mining operation

Provide Level 2/3 technical support across a remote mining site, covering desktop, networking, communications, server, and general infrastructure environments. This role requires strong hands-on capability, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in challenging site conditions.

• Deliver Level 2/3 IT support across the mining site.

• Support desktops, laptops, peripherals, and end‑user environments.

• Troubleshoot networking, communications, wireless and connectivity issues.

• Provide basic server, storage and infrastructure support.

• Assist with general IT maintenance, monitoring and fault resolution.

• Work with enterprise technologies: Cisco, Dell, Cisco UCS, Pure Storage, wireless systems.

• Support operational teams and users in a remote FIFO environment.

• Escalate complex issues and collaborate with wider technical teams.

• Maintain strong customer service, documentation and communication standards.

• Previous FIFO experience (essential).

• Strong Level 2/3 IT support background.

• Broad technical capability across:

  • Desktop support

  • Networking

  • Communications

  • Servers

  • General infrastructure

• Experience in mining or remote-site environments (highly desirable).

• Exposure to Cisco, Dell, UCS, Pure Storage and wireless technologies (advantageous).

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently in remote, hot, and challenging conditions.

• OT/industrial technology experience beneficial but not essential.
