A rapidly growing technology infrastructure business is looking for a senior electrical engineering leader to oversee electrical delivery across a growing portfolio of AI infrastructure sites throughout APAC.

This is a senior technical leadership position responsible for electrical engineering execution across multiple projects, from design review and procurement through construction, commissioning and handover.

The role will lead a geographically distributed team and work closely with construction, commissioning, mechanical, controls and operations teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, consistently and to a high technical standard.

• Lead the electrical engineering function across multiple AI infrastructure projects.

• Oversee the implementation and adaptation of electrical designs to suit local regulations, site conditions and project requirements.

• Provide technical leadership across MV/LV distribution, UPS, standby generation, protection, earthing, bonding and power quality.

• Lead design reviews, technical assurance, change control and management of site deviations.

• Oversee FAT, SAT, commissioning readiness, energisation and handover activities.

• Work closely with contractors, consultants, utilities, OEMs and other project stakeholders.

• Identify technical issues during construction and commissioning and act as the escalation point for electrical matters.

• Feed project and operational learnings back into engineering standards, templates and future design development.

• Build and develop a distributed electrical engineering team across multiple locations.

• Establish consistent engineering standards and processes across the project portfolio.

• Work closely with Construction, Commissioning and Operations to ensure a smooth transition from build to operation.

• 12 years' experience in electrical power engineering, ideally within data centres, hyperscale infrastructure, industrial power or other mission-critical environments.

• Strong technical knowledge across MV/LV distribution, UPS systems, standby and prime-power generation, switchgear, protection and relay coordination.

• Experience with earthing, bonding, arc-flash, power quality and safety-in-design.

• Strong understanding of power system modelling, including load flow and short-circuit studies.

• Experience managing electrical engineering delivery across design, construction, testing, commissioning and handover.

• Proven experience leading engineers and managing external consultants, contractors and equipment suppliers.

• Experience working across multiple projects or geographically distributed teams.

• Strong understanding of engineering governance, design standards, technical assurance and change control.

• Experience working with utilities, regulators and major electrical equipment vendors.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a power systems focus.

• APAC project experience, particularly Australia and Indonesia, would be highly regarded.

• Senior leadership position within the infrastructure delivery team.

• Based in Australia or Singapore, with regular travel across project locations.
