PRSO Officer needed in Wembley

This is a temporary role and the rate is £23.81ph PAYE

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective discharge of statutory housing duties by completing detailed, composite assessments and making lawful, suitable and affordable Private Rented Sector Offers (PRSOs) in line with the Localism Act 2011, the Homelessness (Suitability of Accommodation) Orders and the Homelessness Code of Guidance.

They will balance legislative requirements with the needs of each household, aiming to secure accommodation as close as possible to the local area, or otherwise identifying appropriate alternatives that meet the family’s circumstances. The successful candidate will confidently manage a varied and often complex caseload, including cases subject to judicial review or ombudsman scrutiny, applying up‑to‑date knowledge of homelessness legislation and providing innovative, solution‑focused advice to achieve robust, defensible outcomes.
