Cloud Engineer AWS / Azure Brisbane Up to 180K

Pearson Carter are currently working with a globally recognised architecture and design organisation delivering major projects across Asia, Australia, Europe, and the Americas. Their global technology team supports cloud transformation, secure infrastructure, and digital platforms across multiple regions and time zones.

Due to growth, they are hiring a Cloud Engineer to join their Brisbane-based team.

You’ll design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, with a strong focus on cloud networking, security, Infrastructure as Code, and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities:
Design and manage AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure
Build secure VPC/VNet, routing, DNS, and connectivity solutions
Manage Palo Alto firewalls and cloud security controls
Maintain Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK / TypeScript
Support cloud migration and hybrid cloud architecture
Maintain CI/CD infrastructure and deployment environments
Monitor cloud performance, security, and availability
Troubleshoot cloud, network, and firewall issues

Experience:
5 years AWS and/or Azure experience
Strong cloud networking knowledge
Experience with firewalls and security controls
Infrastructure as Code experience
Strong VPN and hybrid connectivity experience
CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
Strong Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting skills
Cloud security and troubleshooting experience

Salary
They offer a competitive salary package of up to 180,000, depending on experience.
