Agentic AI Engineer

AI is moving quickly from experimentation into production.

We're looking for an Agentic AI Engineer to join a growing technology team and help build AI-powered solutions that can reason, interact with systems and automate complex workflows.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys working with LLMs, agents and modern AI technologies and wants to build things that go beyond simple chatbot applications.

The Role

You'll be involved in designing, developing and deploying AI solutions that solve real business problems.

Your work will include:

• Designing and building agentic AI systems and workflows
• Developing applications powered by large language models
• Building AI agents that can interact with APIs, tools and external systems
• Developing RAG pipelines and knowledge-based AI applications
• Experimenting with different models and approaches to improve performance
• Building integrations between AI systems and existing applications
• Evaluating model outputs and improving reliability
• Working with engineering and product teams to take AI concepts into production
• Monitoring and optimising AI applications once they're deployed
• Keeping up with developments across the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with around 3 years of software engineering experience who has moved into AI and has hands-on experience building with modern LLM technologies.

You'll ideally have experience with:

• Python
• LLMs and generative AI
• Agentic AI / AI agents
• RAG
• Prompt engineering
• APIs and system integrations
• Vector databases
• LangChain, LangGraph or similar frameworks
• Cloud platforms
• Git and modern software development practices

We're particularly interested in engineers who have actually built and deployed AI solutions, rather than simply experimenting with ChatGPT or completing AI courses.
