THE ROLE:

Level 2/3 IT Support / Infrastructure Technician – FIFO
End Client: Mineral Resources
Location: WA – FIFO
Contract: Initial 3 months, with potential to extend based on performance
Rate: 60–80 per hour Super

Key responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2/3 technical support across the mining site.
• Support desktops, laptops, hardware and end-user environments.
• Troubleshoot networking, communications and wireless issues.
• Provide basic server and infrastructure support.
• Assist with general IT infrastructure troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Work with enterprise technologies including Cisco, Dell, Cisco UCS, Pure Storage and wireless environments.
• Support users and operational teams in a remote mining environment.
• Escalate complex issues where required and work closely with wider technical teams.
• Maintain strong customer service and communication standards.

THE CANDIDATE:

• Previous FIFO experience is essential.
• Strong Level 2/3 IT support experience.
• Broad technical knowledge across:
  • Desktop support
  • Networking
  • Communications
  • Servers
  • General infrastructure
• Experience in mining or other remote-site environments highly desirable.
• Exposure to Cisco, Dell, UCS, Pure Storage and wireless technologies advantageous.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Comfortable working in hot and challenging site conditions.
• OT experience is advantageous but not essential.
