Are you passionate about helping people get more out of the technology they use every day?

We’re working with a well-established Australian organisation that is looking for an experienced Technology Trainer to join its team and play a key role in technology adoption, user support and capability development.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be working directly with users across the business — delivering training, providing one-on-one support and helping people confidently adopt new systems and processes.

You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging technology training across a range of applications and supporting users when they need assistance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering instructor-led classroom training to groups and individuals
• Providing one-on-one technology support and guidance
• Assisting users both in person and over the phone
• Troubleshooting and resolving day-to-day technology queries
• Training users on Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Supporting users with advanced Microsoft Office functionality
• Assisting with the implementation and rollout of new systems and processes
• Developing and maintaining training materials, manuals and user guides
• Documenting common enquiries and solutions to build internal FAQs and knowledge resources
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to improve technology adoption and user experience

We're looking for someone who combines strong technology knowledge with excellent communication and training skills.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a Technology Trainer, Application Trainer, Systems Trainer, Digital Adoption or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience delivering both group and one-on-one training
• A genuine ability to explain technology to users with varying levels of technical confidence
• Experience supporting users and troubleshooting technology issues
• Experience training users through new systems, processes or technology implementations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to create clear and practical training documentation
• A proactive, service-focused approach
