Take ownership of a core business systems environment and play a key role in a long-term NAV to Business Central transformation.

An established UK-based business is looking for a Business Applications Manager to take ownership of its core business systems. The organisation is currently running Microsoft Dynamics NAV, with a planned move to Dynamics 365 Business Central in January 2029.

Working closely with the Head of IT, you’ll become the internal NAV/BC SME, supporting users, improving processes and helping shape the company’s business applications strategy over the coming years.

You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day management and development of the company’s core business applications, with Microsoft Dynamics NAV at the centre of the role.

You’ll provide hands-on NAV support, manage configuration and system improvements, and work closely with users across the business to understand requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes.

You’ll also manage relationships with external IT and software support partners, while providing technical and functional input across the wider business applications environment.

With a move to Business Central planned for 2029, you’ll have the opportunity to play a key role in the transition and help shape the future systems landscape.

• Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central
• Experience operating as an internal NAV/BC SME or business systems specialist
• Strong knowledge of core business processes including Finance, Purchasing, Sales, Inventory and Warehousing
• Good SQL / SQL Server experience, with Power BI knowledge desirable
• Experience with business applications, system configuration and ongoing improvement
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with users, senior stakeholders and external suppliers
• A proactive approach to identifying and delivering system and process improvements
• Comfortable working 4 days per week onsite in Weybridge – non-negotiable

This is a key internal role where you’ll have genuine ownership of the company’s core business systems and work closely with the Head of IT.

You’ll join an established organisation with a long-term technology roadmap and have the opportunity to play a significant role in its transition from NAV to Business Central.

Salary: £65k – £70k for an exceptional candidate

Location: Weybridge – 4 days onsite per week
