Insurance & Risk Manager
Essex Hybrid Working (3 Days On-Site)
£34.68 PAYE / £44.48 Umbrella per hour
Temporary Contract 4 Weeks 36 Hours per Week

We're seeking an experienced Insurance & Risk Manager to lead insurance and risk management activities within a busy public sector environment.

You'll take ownership of insurance contracts, renewals, claims management, and procurement processes, while maintaining the corporate risk register and working with stakeholders to identify and mitigate organisational risks.

Key requirements:

• Significant experience in insurance management
• Expertise in insurance procurement, tenders, and renewals
• Strong knowledge of risk management and corporate risk registers
• Experience managing insurance claims and providing strategic advice
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Local government experience desirable but not essential
