Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative specialising in Goods in and picking for a large distribution centre in Bedford.

Monday - Friday

14:00pm -22:00pm

Pay £15.49 per hour inclusive of holiday pay

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts
• Managing stock levels through accurate picking and packing of orders
• Operating warehouse management systems (WMS) including AS400 for inventory control
• Handling materials safely and efficiently in line with health and safety regulations
• Assisting with shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods
• Organising stock storage areas to optimise space utilisation and accessibility
• Supporting warehouse maintenance activities, including cleaning and equipment checks
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily operational targets

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
• Familiarity with forklift operation is desirable but not mandatory; certification is advantageous
