The Role

As an Investigative Officer within the Central Investigation Team, you will:

• Manage and progress criminal investigations in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Gather, review, and evaluate evidence from a variety of sources.
• Conduct witness, victim, and suspect interviews where appropriate.
• Prepare investigation files for criminal justice proceedings.
• Liaise effectively with partner agencies, victims, witnesses, and criminal justice partners.
• Undertake investigative actions to identify, locate, and pursue offenders.
• Ensure investigations are conducted professionally, ethically, and with a focus on victim care.
• Maintain accurate records and utilise police systems to support investigations.
• Contribute to achieving positive outcomes for victims and communities.
