Social Media Officer needed in Brentwood, £16.66 - 17.90ph PAYE - Reference: RQ1788346

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, brimming with ideas and able to transform projects, services and achievements into compelling social content that informs, educates and engages residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging and high-quality content across a range of social media platforms.

• Produce written content including short-form social posts, longer-form articles and campaign messaging.

• Develop graphics, imagery and other creative assets for social media, newsletters and internal communications.

• Capture and edit smartphone photography and video content.

• Schedule, publish and optimise social media content using best practice techniques.

• Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a timely, professional and human manner.

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
