Insurance Officer needed in Newton Abbot

This is a temporary role and the rate is £18.04ph PAYE

The successful candidate will support the Finance Systems & Transaction Manager in delivering the provision of an accountancy service for the authority, in particular insurance administration:  - Insurance claims handling  - Provision of insurance advice - Maintenance of database of insurance claims  Liaise with internal clients and external contacts to progress and support insurance claims, including insurance broker, insurance provider, claims handler, appointed solicitor and loss adjuster. Maintenance of insurance claims database and assist with the development of the system and reporting.  Assist in completion of annual insurance renewal documentation.  Contribute to reports for members, Senior Leadership Team and partner working groups to consider on issues relating to the Accountancy Team’s functions.  Make sure that Finance Team offers a customer focused service.
