Project Manager needed in Crewe Paying  £24.92 per hr ref 5305886

Full time hours on a temporary basis

  •  Key Responsibilities

    Project Delivery
    • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex transformation and change projects.
    • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones and resource plans.
    • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
    • Apply recognised project management and change management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
    Governance & Reporting
    • Produce and maintain key project documentation including:
      • Project Initiation Documents (PIDs)
      • Project Plans
      • Risk and Issue Registers
      • Benefits Realisation Plans
      • Progress Reports
      • Change Control Documentation
    • Provide regular updates to project boards, programme boards and senior stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and approval processes.
    Stakeholder Management
    • Build effective relationships with senior leaders, service managers and external partners.
    • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and support decision-making.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear communication throughout project delivery.
    • Escalate risks, issues and dependencies through appropriate governance routes.
    Business Change & Improvement
    • Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Support service redesign and transformation initiatives.
    • Ensure proposed changes deliver measurable efficiencies and service improvements.
    • Drive continuous improvement and best practice approaches across projects.
    Commercial & Procurement Support
    • Coordinate commissioning, procurement and commercial activity.
    • Support commercialisation and business development initiatives.
    • Monitor project expenditure and financial performance.
    • Track financial and non-financial benefits throughout project implementation.
    Risk & Performance Management
    • Identify, assess and manage project risks and dependencies.
    • Monitor project performance against agreed KPIs and objectives.
    • Ensure effective controls are in place to support successful delivery.
    • Support benefits realisation and post-implementation reviews.
