Account Manager – Print, Direct Mail, Marketing Services

Location: Essex (Office Based)

Salary: £45,000

Are you an experienced Print Account Manager who enjoys being close to the action?

I’m recruiting for an established and forward-thinking print business, who are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their client services team.

This is a genuinely hands-on Account Management role. You’ll be office based, working closely with Production and internal teams to ensure your clients’ projects move seamlessly from initial brief through to final delivery.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of your accounts and their day-to-day print requirements, becoming a trusted point of contact for your clients while keeping a close eye on what’s happening internally.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing day-to-day relationships with key clients
• Taking and interpreting client briefs
• Managing print projects from enquiry through to delivery
• Coordinating quotations and costs
• Liaising frequently with Production around schedules, capacity and deadlines
• Managing artwork, proofs, amends and approvals
• Keeping clients updated throughout the production process
• Monitoring deadlines, budgets and job profitability
• Identifying opportunities to develop existing accounts
• Troubleshooting issues and finding solutions when things don’t quite go to plan!

About You

You’ll ideally already come from a print or print-related environment and understand what it takes to get a job from brief through production and out of the door.

Experience across commercial print, digital print, direct mail, personalised print or print management would be particularly relevant.

Most importantly, you’ll be organised, commercially aware, confident with clients and comfortable working closely with a busy Production team.

Please note: this is an office-based role in Essex. Being on site and having regular interaction with Production is an important part of the position, so this isn’t suited to someone looking for a predominantly home-based role.
