Data & AI Architect – Senior Manager / Principal / Director

Pearson Carter is partnering with a leading global technology consultancy expanding across Southeast Asia. You’ll lead Data & AI architecture and transformation engagements for major enterprises, combining technical design with executive advisory and helping clients turn technology strategy into business results.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise architecture and Data & AI consulting engagements, shaping solutions around your clients’ business priorities.

• Design scalable data platforms and AI capabilities, including cloud and Generative AI solutions.

• Develop technology roadmaps that guide legacy modernisation and cloud transformation.

• Advise C-suite stakeholders, presenting clear business cases, architecture recommendations and executive briefings.

• Lead multidisciplinary delivery teams, providing technical direction from strategy through implementation.

Experience

Essential:

• A technology consulting background, with experience leading client engagements at a major consulting firm or specialist technology consultancy.

• Strong expertise in Data & AI architecture and enterprise technology transformation.

• Experience designing enterprise solutions and guiding modernisation or cloud programmes.

• Confidence engaging C-suite stakeholders and translating complex technical decisions into commercial recommendations.

• Technical credibility alongside the ability to lead teams and manage client relationships.

Advantageous:

• Experience with AWS, Databricks, Generative AI or OpenAI technologies.

• Client experience across banking, insurance, energy, industrial goods or telecommunications.

• Experience delivering transformation programmes across Southeast Asia.

Opportunities are available across Manager to Director levels, with particular interest in Senior Manager, Principal and Lead Principal candidates.

Compensation varies by location and level:

Bonus ranges vary by level: 15–30% for Level 2, 20–40% for Level 3, 25–50% for Level 4 and 60–120% for Director. An additional annual Southeast Asia payment of approximately 15% is indicated, paid in December. Package components and eligibility will be discussed during the recruitment process.

You’ll have the opportunity to influence major enterprise decisions, lead regional engagements and work across technology strategy and delivery.

Location

Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.
