This is an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to take ownership of projects from initial planning through to execution, commissioning and close-out. You’ll work closely with clients, site teams, contractors, suppliers and internal engineering and workshop teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The business delivers end-to-end services across project installation, shutdowns, machinery hire, maintenance, overhaul, custom design, testing and fabrication.

As Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading electrical projects across mining, infrastructure and heavy industrial environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing electrical projects from planning through to completion and close-out

• Developing project scopes, schedules, budgets and delivery plans

• Coordinating electrical design and engineering activities

• Managing contractors, suppliers and internal resources

• Overseeing electrical installation, commissioning and maintenance activities

• Reviewing electrical drawings, specifications and control systems

• Monitoring project costs, budgets, variations and financial performance

• Managing project risks, timelines and technical requirements

• Ensuring compliance with relevant electrical standards and safety regulations

• Preparing project updates, progress reports and documentation

• Working closely with clients and site teams to ensure successful delivery

• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across project delivery

You’ll ideally have:

• Strong experience delivering electrical projects within mining, infrastructure or heavy industrial environments

• A strong technical foundation across electrical installation and engineering

• The ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and relevant standards

• Experience managing project budgets, cost control and commercial outcomes

• A relevant electrical trade qualification or degree in Electrical Engineering

• Strong project management capability across scheduling, risk, documentation and stakeholder management

• Experience managing contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams

• A strong understanding of workplace health and safety and quality systems

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships

• The ability to work effectively in changing site and project environments

• 160k–190k super depending on experience
