Pension Accountant needed in Romford

This is a temporary role and the rate is £650 per day

The successful candidate will take ownership of all Pension Fund accounting activity, ensuring every financial transaction is accurately recorded, reconciled and reported in line with statutory and professional requirements. They will produce timely cashflow, budget and risk management information, support the preparation of the Pension Fund accounts, annual report and climate report, and respond effectively to audit queries.

They will provide clear, consistent financial advice to senior stakeholders, contribute to committee and board reporting, and supply high‑quality data for valuations and regulatory reporting. In addition, they will support treasury operations, develop complex financial models, assist with investment monitoring, and help drive continuous improvement, process automation and strong financial controls across the service.
