Pearson Carter are currently working with an ambitious UK professional membership organisation within the sports and physical activity sector, who are looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / Power Platform Technical Consultant to join their growing IT team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-to-senior level D365 professional who wants genuine ownership, autonomy and the opportunity to shape how Dynamics 365 is used across the organisation.
The RoleYou’ll take ownership of Dynamics 365 CE, working across the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement through to solution design, development, implementation and ongoing support.
The organisation has already implemented Dynamics 365 CE Sales and is currently working on Customer Insights – Journeys, with a strong focus on out-of-the-box and low-code Power Platform solutions. They are also looking ahead to a Business Central implementation next year, providing further opportunities to get involved across the Microsoft ecosystem.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business, translating business requirements into effective technical solutions and communicating with users of varying levels of technical ability.
Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the organisation’s Dynamics 365 CE platform and ongoing development.
Gather and analyse requirements from stakeholders across the business.
Design, develop and implement D365 CE and Power Platform solutions.
Deliver continuous improvements to existing systems and processes.
Support the ongoing administration, maintenance and development of Dynamics 365 CE.
Work closely with the CRM Product Owner and Power Platform Developer.
Translate business requirements into scalable and user-friendly technical solutions.
Manage stakeholders and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Contribute to the continued rollout of Customer Insights – Journeys.
Support future Microsoft Dynamics projects, including the planned Business Central rollout.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and make better use of the Microsoft technology stack.
We’re looking for someone with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar Dynamics 365 CE / Power Platform role, who is comfortable taking ownership and working with a high degree of autonomy.
You’ll need to be both technically capable and commercially minded, with the confidence to engage with stakeholders, understand their requirements and then deliver the right solution.
Essential Experience3 years’ experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE.
Strong experience across the Power Platform.
Experience with Microsoft Azure.
Hands-on development experience, including JavaScript.
Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management experience.
Experience taking ownership of D365 solutions from requirements through to delivery.
Comfortable working with low-code / out-of-the-box Microsoft solutions.
You do not need C#/.NET experience for this position.

£60,000 – £65,000 salary
