LRF Support Officer needed in Exeter

This is a temporary role and the rate is £17.42ph PAYE

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the LRF Manager to ensure effective coordination, delivery and oversight of resilience activity across more than 60 partner organisations within the Devon, Cornwall & Isles of Scilly LRF. They will provide clear advice and direction to multi‑agency partners, offer informed guidance to the Police on contingency and emergency planning matters, and contribute to the ongoing development and management of the LRF Business Plan.

They will help drive the LRF Work Programme, prioritising tasks based on risk and ensuring strong alignment with strategic objectives. The successful candidate will also support multi‑agency hazard and threat working groups, applying sound risk‑management principles and maintaining awareness of emerging risks through horizon scanning and analysis. Acting as a key point of contact for internal teams, regional and national partners, and members of the public, they will ensure consistent communication, collaboration and representation across the resilience network.
