We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex network transformation and security initiatives within a large enterprise environment.

This role will be responsible for developing end-to-end network architecture solutions, assessing existing environments, defining migration strategies, and providing technical leadership throughout project delivery. Working closely with stakeholders, project teams, and technology partners, you will ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with business objectives.

• Design end-to-end enterprise network and security solutions across campus, wireless, and access environments.
• Develop High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), architecture diagrams, and implementation documentation.
• Define target-state architectures and strategic technology roadmaps.
• Ensure solutions meet security, availability, scalability, and performance requirements.
• Provide architecture governance and design assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

• Assess existing network and security environments and identify transformation requirements.
• Conduct gap analyses, technical assessments, and migration readiness activities.
• Develop migration strategies, implementation plans, rollback procedures, and cutover methodologies.
• Identify technical risks and dependencies and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support transition planning to minimise business disruption.

• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and architecture review meetings.
• Gather and analyse business and technical requirements.
• Translate business objectives into practical and scalable technology solutions.
• Present architecture recommendations and solution designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and customer stakeholders.

• Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight during build, testing, deployment, and transition phases.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, security teams, and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, and technical decision-making throughout delivery.
• Promote industry best practices and operational excellence.

• Produce comprehensive architecture documentation, migration runbooks, implementation guides, and operational handover materials.
• Maintain architecture standards and governance processes.
• Ensure compliance with organisational security frameworks, policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Proven experience in a Solution Architect, Network Architect, or Senior Network Engineering role.
• Experience designing and delivering large-scale enterprise network transformation or migration programs.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking technologies including:
  • Campus networking
  • Wireless networking
  • Routing and switching
  • Network segmentation
  • Identity and access control
  • Network security architectures
• Experience developing architecture artefacts, design documentation, and migration plans.
• Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and technical design reviews.
• Excellent problem-solving, analysis, and communication skills.

• Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network automation technologies.
• Understanding of infrastructure automation, orchestration, and API integration concepts.
• Experience with cloud networking and hybrid enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code methodologies and automation frameworks.
• Experience working across highly regulated or complex enterprise environments.

• Extensive experience in solution architecture, enterprise networking, or infrastructure architecture.
• Strong understanding of enterprise network and security design principles.
• Demonstrated success delivering network transformation and migration initiatives.

• Industry-recognised networking or security certifications.
• Architecture certifications such as TOGAF or equivalent.
• Vendor certifications across networking, cloud, or security technologies.

• Delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure network architecture solutions.
• Successful execution of transformation and migration initiatives with minimal business disruption.
