Technical Support Officer needed in Bedford

This is a temporary role and the rate is £17.96ph PAYE

The successful candidate will possess a basic knowledge of Housing Grants legislation and the welfare benefits system, with the ability to provide high-quality customer service as the first point of contact for residents accessing the service.

They will be experienced in managing a busy and varied workload, handling a caseload of grant applications from initial enquiry through to completion, while ensuring customers are kept informed of progress throughout. Working closely with Technical Officers and Contractors, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills, acting as a key liaison between all parties. In addition, they will have good financial awareness and experience preparing financial documentation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of grant administration.
