Principle Finance Officer needed in East London

This is a temporary role and the rate is £198.55 per day PAYE

The successful candidate will provide high-quality financial management and business partnering support, assisting with the preparation, monitoring and forecasting of revenue and capital budgets while delivering accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making.

They will investigate financial issues and variances, prepare management reports and statutory returns, support budget setting and medium-term financial planning activities, and contribute to the production of annual accounts. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build effective working relationships with budget holders, stakeholders and auditors.

The successful candidate will also support the development of financial systems, controls and process improvements, contribute to transformation projects, and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards and corporate procedures, while exercising professional judgement to achieve service objectives.
