Pearson Carter are currently working with a growing technology organisation based in Wellington, delivering modern software solutions across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and digital services.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a Senior .NET Developer to join their engineering team and work across backend services, APIs, cloud applications, and customer-facing platforms.

This is a hands-on role offering strong technical ownership, modern development practices, and the opportunity to work on complex software projects within a collaborative engineering environment.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET applications
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
Develop cloud-based solutions using Azure
Work with SQL databases and data integrations
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
Improve application performance, reliability, and security
Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders

Experience:
5 years’ commercial software development experience
Strong C# and .NET / .NET Core experience
Strong REST API development experience
Experience with SQL and relational databases
Azure cloud experience preferred
Understanding of CI/CD, Git, and Agile methodologies
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
