Senior Full Stack Developer (.NET/React/React Native)

Pearson Carter are working with a well-established global retailer who are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join their in-house development team, working across a mixture of greenfield and legacy projects.

The role requires strong commercial experience across C#/.NET, React and TypeScript, with experience in React Native and microservices architecture. You'll be joining a collaborative, product-based development team, working on applications supporting retail operations, store handheld devices, administration portals and reporting systems.

The role offers a competitive base salary of £85,000 - £90,000.

Responsibilities:

• Developing full stack solutions using C#/.NET, React and TypeScript

• Working across greenfield development and enhancing existing legacy applications

• Building and maintaining applications supporting retail operations, store handheld devices and online portals

• Contributing to systems built around microservices architecture

• Working with databases including SQL Server and MongoDB

• Producing high-quality, tested code through unit testing, code reviews and best practices

• Working collaboratively with the wider development team, sharing knowledge and mentoring junior developers where appropriate

Experience:

• Minimum 6 years' commercial experience with C#/.NET

• Minimum 6 years' commercial experience with React and TypeScript

• Experience with React Native, either commercially or through personal projects

• Commercial experience working with databases, either document or relational

• Understanding of microservices design principles, ideally with commercial experience

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a product-based team

• Experience producing high-quality, well-tested code

• Ability to make pragmatic technical decisions and take ownership of development projects

• Experience or willingness to mentor and support more junior developers

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary of £85,000 - £90,000, depending on experience.

Location

This position is fully remote, offering the opportunity to work from home while joining an established in-house development team.
