Software Engineer – C#/.NET & Python 120,000–125,000 Brisbane Hybrid

Pearson Carter is partnering with a growing national internet service provider looking for a Software Engineer. You’ll build customer-facing systems, connect services through APIs and automate business processes, with direct access to the people who use your work.

• Develop and extend a custom C#/.NET CRM, Python backend services and customer portals.

• Build third-party API integrations connecting carrier, network and cloud services.

• Automate service delivery, customer notifications and internal workflows.

• Take features from design through to production, working closely with network, support and operations teams.

• Use AI coding tools to support development while reviewing and taking ownership of your code.

Essential:

• Commercial software development experience with C#/.NET and/or Python; strength in one with a willingness to develop the other is welcome.

• Experience with REST APIs, third-party integrations and relational databases.

• Familiarity with Linux and AI coding tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Advantageous:

• Telecommunications or networking experience.

• Django, FastAPI, Vue or experience modernising .NET Framework applications.

• Docker, CI/CD, Ansible or Salesforce integrations.

• Experience building with LLM APIs, agents or MCP.

120,000–125,000 depending on experience.

You’ll also benefit from training and conference budgets, input into technical decisions and the freedom to help choose modern development tools.

Brisbane, Queensland — three days in the office and two days working from home.

You’ll join a team of five developers, a Development Lead and two UX/UI specialists.
