Full-time (37 hours per week) Year End Accountant     contract to start on 17-02-20 until 15-05-20 with a possible extension.

Ensure that the Statutory accounts adhere to FRS 102 and SORP. Perform analytical review on the Statutory accounts and maintain the audit trail. Review Group and subsidiary entity cash flows. Assist with initial tax queries from our tax advisers. Assist in the production and analysis of the Value for Money (VfM) statement. Assist in compiling key performance indicators to support the narrative in the Annual Report. Identify and implement improvements to the year end financial close process. Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required in line with the level of responsibility and accountability of the post and in order to meet the changing needs of the organisation during the Year End close process. Observe and comply with Sovereign’s policies and procedures for Health and Safety at work and observe and continually promote equal opportunities and customer care in compliance with Sovereign’s values, aims and objectives.
