We are working with a fantastic academic organisation who are looking for a Philanthropy Team Lead to manage a team of five working with high-value donors, including trusts and foundations, corporates and high net-worth individuals. This university is about to launch a really exciting fundraising campaign so they are expecting big growth in income and it’s a great opportunity for an experienced manager to get involved.

The Vice Chancellor of the University is extremely supportive of development activities with the aim of reaching £15m a year in income. If you would like to work in a growing, high-performing team at a collaborative University, with teaching and research excellence in many exciting and fundable areas across a broad range of disciplines that address major societal challenges, this role will be great for you.

The successful candidate will need:

• Strong line management experience of at least four people previously, there is a big team here and they need someone used to working with different levels of experience
• Experience generating income from trusts and foundations but also ideally some exposure to HNWIs and corporates
• Strong internal stakeholder management skills

Closing Date: 21st January 2020
Salary: £50,000 - £57,500
