Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Kitchen Manager or Head Chef to join this unique and state of the art place of work.
We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager with a passion for food to oversee the overall operation of the Central Production Unit ensuring full compliance is achieved.

We are looking for a leader of leaders. This is a high volume, fast paced business which requires a strong individual from a similar background. The successful candidate will also have an in depth knowledge of Food Safety and H&S best practices.
As a Kitchen Manager your responsibilities will include:
•Working with the Technical and Health & Safety team to deliver training to ensure that the team to deliver an efficient food operation compliant with all necessary standards
•Owning and creating schedules for KP’s based on production levels to ensure that there are always sufficient staff to meet the daily demands. Manage labour and schedules (including costs)
•Communicate with the team on stock levels (kitchen cleaning supplies). Receiving food back in from events, stock take and support with stock rotation back into the CPU. Keeping close to stock rotation
•Work with the Kitchen Administrator to schedule and oversee necessary maintenance and repairs on kitchen appliances
•Ensure consistency and high standards are met in relation to food preparation and cooking.
•Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and cleaning schedules.
•Recruit, train and mentor team members (Kitchen Porter’s).
•Have full ownership of the full stock take process including stock inwards, stock management and minimise wastage.
•Total control of hygiene including non-conformance
•Have full oversight of the full kitchen facility and activities; linking in with the Head Chef to plan accordingly (stock, manpower, utilities etc.)
Key Attributes:
•Previous experience in a Head Chef position
•The ability to run a large production kitchen
•A strong people manager; able to ‘challenge the norm’ and make positive changes
•A good understanding of Technical compliance standards
•Process driven
•Proven results in being able to evaluate and combine processes; resulting in both commercial and compliance targets being achieved
•Experience in managing kitchen equipment maintenance
•Expert knowledge of allergies and the ability to manage them
