We are working with a university who are looking for a Development Manager to join them with the aim of securing funding for a faculty conducting world-leading research. The role will line manage one individual and will work across different income streams, including HNWIs and corporate however the main focus will be on trusts and foundations.

The Vice Chancellor of the University is extremely supportive of the development team and this role will work with both UK based and international donors, focusing on six figure gifts.  If you would like to work in a stable, high-performing team at a collaborative University this is a great opportunity.

The successful candidate will need:

• Experience of generating income from trusts and foundations, HNWIs or corporates, with a track record of six-figure gifts
• Strong internal stakeholder management skills, you will work with the academic staff and will be able to influence others
• The ability to distil complex information into compelling cases for support
• A tenacious and pro-active approach to building relationships with donors

Salary: £39,000 - £41,500
