Job Description:
We are currently seeking a experienced Chef for a Care Home based in Carlisle.
This is a temporary part time role, where you will be working 2 days a week. These days are flexible working the hours 8.30am - 5.30pm.
Responsibilities and Duties
- To prepare food in order to provide nourishment of a high quality to all residents, day care clients and staff on a flexible basis.
- To maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen and food storage areas, in accordance with Environmental Health Office Regulations.
- To work with management on stock control.
- To respect the residents' privacy and dignity.
- To maintain a happy and homely environment
Qualifications and Skills
- Ideally the successful candidate will have some experience of working in a catering role and have a passion about the quality of food that they produce or they wish to have a career in the catering industry.
