Derbyshire

Circa £45,000 + 10% Bonus Scheme + Private Health Scheme

 

The Company

With a UK turnover in excess of £100 million and being part of £1 Billion group, our client manufactures products used in both the construction industry and consumer markets and are a world leader in their field.  Their Derbyshire site employs over 200 staff between two locations across a range of office based and shop floor roles.  The company are looking to complete their HR Team by recruiting a HR Business Partner with immediate effect.

 

The Role

In this HR Business Partner role you will be reporting directly to the UK HR Manager who looks after all of the UK sites for the business.  This will give you a lot of freedom and autonomy and you will be encouraged make decisions and act on them in the role.  Your key focuses will be:

  • Training and Coaching the leadership team on site around behavioural, disciplinary and HR Issues to provide them with the accountability to make informed decisions.
  • Talent Management – Setting up reviews with the leadership team to review current team structure, opportunities for development and future successors.
  • Building relationships and trust with the senior leadership team.
  • Producing HR reports for board meetings.
  • Recruitment – Reviewing organisational structure with managers to identify needs and ensuring job descriptions are fit for purpose before recruitment begins
  • Supporting performance appraisals – Ensuring appraisal objectives are SMART goals and reviewed.
  • Managing return to work situations.
  • Ensuring the company’s HR Policies are in line with the most current employee law.
  • HR Projects – Some future potential examples include development of a new staff handbook and introducing a graduate scheme into the company.

 

The Candidate

To be successful in your application for this HR Business Partner Role you will need:

  • Experience in a relatable role within an engineering, manufacturing or logistics business.
  • A Masters Level Degree
  • To enjoy coaching and developing leaders around decision making.
  • To be a diplomatic individual.
