The Lead Full Stack Java Developer will be joining a Global Leading Health-tech business who are looking to expand their team. This health-tech company cover various area's within the health industry including pharmaceuticals & more. 

The business has also been founded by a Technologist which has lead to the technical team becoming one of the most vital sections of the business. 

The Role

The Lead Full Stack JavaScript Developer or "Software Engineering Lead" will be responsible for full stack development alongside leading the team. The Lead Full Stack Java Developer will be the primary software engineer in the business for a very successful ecommerce site. 

Duties

• Design, implement, and test new features across the front and the back end. (Java / Vue) 
• Maintain and improve the codebase; recognise duplication, apply SOLID principles, and ensure that we have a solid foundation for our continued growth.
• Use best practices for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Work as part of our development team on a daily basis, with product managers, designers, and others providing input.
• Act as a steward of a large successful product.
• Think about the most efficient ways to accomplish our business objectives, sometimes on incomplete information or in ambiguous situations.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/software development 
• Self-motivated and hardworking
• Innovative and able to adapt to a progressive environment
• Strong interpersonal and good communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of core Java, server-side web development, and AWS
• Desire to develop clean code using test-driven development and agile processes
