Permanent role - £12.65 per hour + Weekly Timekeeping Bonus + Overtime + Company Pension

This specialist manufacturer of components for the distillery and brewing industry have exciting plans to double their order book in the next two years having joined up with a global name in the sector. With workload increasing, there is a requirement to grow the manufacturing team to ensure the demand for the product is met on time and to budget. The Role

As a Coppersmith the role will involve the following:

• Shaping copper into copper distillation and condensing equipment for a wide range of projects
• General welding and fabrication tasks including MIG/TIG welding and using guillotines and press brake machines to cut and bend the copper
• This will include classic “copper smithing” work once the metal is hot
• There will be some site-based repair work when required
• Adhering to all health & safety requirements
• Working as part of a small, skilled fabrication team

The Candidate

The Coppersmith will need the following skills to be successful in their application:

• Ideally you will have some Coppersmith experience
• Alternatively, you will have had previous fabricating roles using Aluminium or Stainless Steel
• TIG/MIG/MMA Welding knowledge
• Able to read engineering drawings
• Excellent work ethic
• An eye for detail and diligent working practices
