This is working full time hours on a temporary contract basis

Implementation of the accounting standard IFRS 16 Leases as adopted by CIPFA’s Code of Practice.

The post holder will need to assess the council’s readiness; review current lease arrangements and determine what is required to implement the new accounting standard (as adopted by the Code) including changes to policies and procedures, assessing any transition arrangements, changes to systems and processes, estimating the impact on assets, liabilities, income, expenditure and reserves and the implications this is likely to have for the financial statements.
