Electrical Maintenance Engineer – West Yorkshire
3-month contract
£25.00p/h - 3 shift rotation Mon-Fri
Electrical / manufacturing / FMCG / maintenance
I am recruiting exclusively for a key client based in West Yorkshire. They are looking for Maintenance Electrician, to assist with general electrical and mechanical maintenance work, on a 6-2/2-10/8-6 (4nights) rotation, working Monday to Friday.
For this position, you will require to conduct the following duties:
v Reactive maintenance with PPM in between, on all electrical aspects of machinery, robotic handling and capital equipment including palletisers and cranes – fault find and repair
v Fixing fast paced industrial production and CNC machinery (control panels, circuits, 3 phase power, wiring, PLC faults etc)
v Working safely and make recommendations for improvements
The successful person will need to have the following attributes:
v Good experience with LEAN and Continuous Improvement principles
v Health and Safety awareness
v Able to work autonomously, with a ‘right first time’ mentality
v Experience within fast paced manufacturing & production environments
v Strong communication and interpersonal skills working alongside production staff and shift supervisors
v Electrical engineering apprenticeship qualified
